Do you know how hard it is to round up eight people, assure that all are cheerful and smiley, and clean and awake? Near impossible. That makes this "portrait" all the more remarkable.

But it was well worth it. Especially Jared's shirt.
This is the story of our family. We write mainly to keep distant family and friends informed of our daily doings, but others are welcome to read too. Because it may be quite boring to read about ordinary people doing ordinary activities, we titled it "The Snooze".
We are a family made up of a dad and mom, with three kids who are all grown and living on their own. Our two oldest are married and we have two grandchildren. They all keep Dad and Mom busy and entertained. We live in suburbia in a little white house, go to work and school, church and shopping, and celebrate family holidays every so often. Welcome to our blog.

Great job!!! The pix is cute!
Yeah, Jared...you COULD have changed your shirt!! I would have made you!
Nonsense. You don't mess with the homeboys.
Mom's new rule: No shirts with words or pictures for future posed photos. Unless you're an itty-bitty and the picture is cute.
Yeah, I had to make that rule many many years ago...mostly for church attendance, though!
Fortunately there are rules that can no longer be binding upon one such as myself.
Wanna bet?
You can't afford to lose.
