Mom (that's me) flew to California over the weekend for a family birthday party celebrating Dad's/Gramps' 80th birthday. We had a special time with Dad, Mom, and the four girls: dinner out on Friday night, an at-home salmon dinner on Saturday, and lots of reminiscing and laughs between. Sunday, two girls had to leave, while the rest of us went to church, then enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the pool . 
The whole extended family (30 or so of us) contributed to a little booklet entitled "80 Memories for 80 Years", and Dad really enjoyed that.
